All other plans enjoy speed shaping – the choice is yours! The monthly allowance specified in the table simply tells you how much you can download. Your speed will be shaped to 64kbps/64kbps. Please note the Westnet Neighbourhood traffic is free for option 2-5 accounts only and will not contribute towards monthly download usage or be subject to speed shaping. Uploads are not counted towards your monthly quota but will be shaped once your monthly quota has been reached. Don’t want to be shaped? Shaping

You can choose to have your Broadband connection slowed to 64kbps/64kbps once you reach your monthly download allowance without being charged for extra downloads (this is called shaping). Westnet is able to provide static (or fixed) IP addresses for a wide range of circumstances for just $4.99/month, or $55/year. Using a static IP enables you to present a consistent address to the World Wide Web.

Change between speeds
