Getting Connected
Westnet makes it easy for you.
After signing up to Westnet Satellite Broadband, a registered installer will contact you to organise an installation date. Installation takes approximately 21 to 28 days. Once the installer has been to your house to install the roof mounted dish and connect you with Westnet Satellite hardware, you will be online within minutes.
If you opt for an Australian Broadband Guarantee plan (12 month contract with associated discounts and benefits) a $120 pro-rata cancellation fee applies.
Satellite Hardware Installation
Westnet Satellite Broadband equipment includes:
Indoor Unit: includes Satellite modem.
Outdoor Unit: includes a Satellite dish, antenna, block up converter, LNB and feed assembly.
ABG Eligible - Fully subsidised.
ABG Ineligible - $2,750 for standand install.
Installation T&Cs
* Additional charges may be incurred for non-standard installation. In general, a standard installation refers to a single storey, 84cm satellite dish roof mount. Location, dwelling type and required travel distances will be considered during the application process and any additional charges will be advised prior to installation.
